We sample stools (and chairs and booths) in NYC bars. We rate bar seating based on criteria that we make up on the spot. Our methodology is not scientifically sound. If you would like to know more about the bars we review -- such as whether the drinks are affordable, what the crowd is like, and hours of operation -- you will have to visit a more helpful website.
We just do stools. And we take our stools very seriously.
